About the project
Moved my photography portfolio off Adobe Portfolio to a Laravel app on shared hosting, then turned it into a bilingual professional site.
Highlights
- Translated URLs (French at the root, English under /en) and permanent redirects from old addresses.
- Role-based admin portal: galleries, photos, projects, career, testimonials and site copy.
- GD image pipeline: resized renditions, EXIF orientation and a memory guard.
- No build step: hand-written CSS and JavaScript, self-hosted fonts.
- Automated tests covering the public site and the portal.
