About the project

A complete transactional system built for XCapoter, an escape-room business that has since closed. Customers booked a room and a time slot, paid online and received their confirmation, while staff ran the schedule, payments and point of sale from an admin portal. This system is the starting point of CrenoSync, the multi-business booking platform I founded next.

Highlights

• Per-room time-slot engine with schedule templates and cross-room overlap detection.
• Server-verified online payments, coupons, taxes and deposits.
• Point-of-sale module: gift cards, merchandise and emailed PDF receipts.
• Québec Law 25 compliance: encrypted personal data, data search and export, breach register and audit log.
• Mobile-friendly admin portal with read or write permissions per module.
• The original code of CrenoSync, since grown into a multi-business platform.
• Automated tests running on both SQLite and MySQL.
